A Gulf coffee service, brewed the traditional way
This is coffee as the Gulf makes it: ground fine and simmered in a cezve, or lightly roasted and poured from a long-spouted brass dallah into small handleless cups. It is handed across a counter by someone who will tell you what is in it, and it looks like something while it happens.
It is also easy to host. The setup draws very little power, fits a lobby or a courtyard, and brings a menu almost nobody else in Southern California is serving at events.
Five coffees your guests have not had at an event
Arabic coffee — gahwa — is the Gulf welcome drink, lightly roasted, cardamom-forward, poured from a long-spouted dallah. Saudi coffee is its paler, more aromatic cousin, served with dates. Turkish coffee is made one small pot at a time and poured unfiltered so the grounds settle.
Then the two easy ones: French coffee, sweet and milky in the Middle Eastern café sense, and the Spanish latte built on sweetened condensed milk. Between the traditional three and the sweet two, the counter reaches guests who came for the culture and guests who just want something that tastes good.
Where it fits best
Corporate breaks, conference mornings, brand activations, weddings, and any event where the host wants the drinks table to be a talking point rather than a utility. It pairs naturally with the tea menu — most bookings take both from the same booth.

How it works
A booth, a counter, and a queue that keeps forming

We bring a branded canopy, a served counter, and pots of tea and coffee brewed the way they are brewed in the Gulf. Because everything is brewed in volume before the doors open, we hand out a hot cup every few seconds rather than every few minutes.
That matters most at the moments events actually get busy: the end of a ceremony, a conference break, the hour after sunset at a Ramadan bazaar. The booth is designed to absorb a crowd, and the setup is designed to be photographed while it does.
- Branded canopy, calligraphy panels and feather flags included
- Served counter — guests are handed a cup, not left to self-serve
- Hot and cold menu so the booth works in July as well as December
- Indoor or outdoor, with our own setup and breakdown
What guests say
Reviews from Google
“Honestly one of the best Karak experiences in California. Mohammad really knows what he's doing. Every cup hits different, rich, smooth, and full of authentic Eastern flavor. You can literally taste the spices, the warmth, the culture in every sip. It's not just tea, it feels like a small trip to the Middle East right here in Cali. If you're into real Karak, this place is a must.”
“I had the pleasure of having The Dubai Karak at my birthday celebration, and they truly exceeded every expectation. They were so kind, generous, and welcoming, creating such a beautiful atmosphere from the moment they arrived. The karak was absolutely amazing, rich and authentic, and they offered so much more than just drinks. Every detail, from their presentation to their outfits, was executed perfectly from A to Z. They brought such a luxurious, elevated vibe that made everyone fall in love with the experience and truly made my party unforgettable!”
“I drink Karak very frequently and I've tried it here and it was the best Karak I've tried so far. I recommend everyone trying it out!”
Questions
Frequently asked questions
What coffee do you serve?
Arabic coffee (gahwa), Saudi coffee and Turkish coffee, all brewed the traditional way in dallahs and cezves, plus French coffee and a Spanish latte for guests who want something sweeter. Hot or iced on the Spanish latte.
What is Arabic coffee?
Arabic coffee, or gahwa, is lightly roasted coffee spiced with cardamom and poured from a long-spouted brass dallah into small handleless cups. It is the traditional welcome drink across the Gulf and is usually served alongside dates.
What is the difference between Arabic and Saudi coffee?
They are closely related. Saudi coffee is roasted even lighter, which gives it a pale gold colour and a stronger cardamom and saffron aroma. Arabic coffee is the broader Gulf term and is typically slightly darker.
What is a Spanish latte?
Coffee built on sweetened condensed milk rather than plain steamed milk, which makes it rounder and noticeably sweeter. It took over Gulf café menus and is the item our younger guests order by name. Available hot or iced.
Can you serve both tea and coffee at one event?
Yes, and most clients do. The full tea and coffee menu runs from a single booth with one setup.
